Alpha Chemicals Business Profile
Alpha Chemicals commenced business in 1956 as a partnership formed to produce inorganic metal compounds. After incorporation it merged with Mercurials to form the present company situated in the Sydney suburb of Cromer.
In this period of almost fifty years, Alpha Chemicals has supplied a range of inorganic and organometal compounds to a wide range of domestic and export markets.
The Alpha Chemicals range is complemented by a range of products and services supplied from overseas principals. These include:
- Inorganic Cobalt compounds, including Cobalt Carbonate & Cobalt Hydroxide, from OMG Inc.
- Inorganic Tin compounds, including Stannous Chloride & Stannous Sulphate, from Reaxis Inc.
- A range of chemicals and systems used in anodising and colouring aluminium from Alufinish GmbH.
- Anodising equipment, rectifiers, transformers, control equipment and Interference colouring systems from Munk GmbH.
Our position as an independent, privately owned company
enables us to provide a secure, confidential service to
produce customer owned formulations. Specific end use formulations
can be developed and produced for clients requiring this
exclusive service.
Our laboratory facilities, through standard quality control procedures, monitor our production and formulation. They also play a key role in developing formulations.
Alpha Chemicals exports much of its production throughout the world. We have agents and distributors in New Zealand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand the USA, Pakistan, Mauritius, South Africa and Europe.
